We are modernizing the building and, at the same time, we are trying keep its old values and atmosphere,\u201d wrote the company, adding that they even rebuilt an old fireplace.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">It is Istvan Tiborcz, the husband of prime minister Viktor Orb\u00e1n\u2019s oldest daughter, who will be able to enjoy the comfort of the rebuilt villa. His real estate company BDPST Zrt. recently decided to move its offices to the building in Kelenhegyi Street, one of the most expensive areas of Budapest.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4835\" src=\"https:\/\/www.direkt36.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/MG_9251-1200x800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"474\" height=\"316\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The villa is hidden behind trees and a high fence<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The move appears to be another sign of the increasingly close relationship between members of the Orb\u00e1n family and Hungary\u2019s business elite. The villa is owned by a company of three prominent businessmen: Istv\u00e1n Garancsi, a construction entrepreneur and owner of a major football club, Zsolt Hern\u00e1di, the CEO of oil company Mol, and S\u00e1ndor Cs\u00e1nyi, the country\u2019s wealthiest person, known mostly for leading OTP, the country\u2019s biggest bank.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The three men often appear at football matches in the company of the prime minister, an avid football fan. Garancsi and Hern\u00e1di once even went on a hiking tour with Orb\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.direkt36.hu\/en\/tamogass-minket\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">We can only do this work if we have supporters.<br \/>\nBecome a supporting member now!<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Neither BDPST, nor CD Hungary responded to our questions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Tiborcz, 32, began his business career with an energy company that received several lucrative public contracts under controversial circumstances. Most of the projects were funded by the European Union, and the EU\u2019s anti-fraud unit \u201crevealed not only serious irregularities in most of the projects, but also conflict of interest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Tiborcz recently became the majority owner of BDPST Zrt., a fast-growing real estate company after purchasing shares from one of his long-time business partners, company records show. Tiborcz now owns at least 75 percent of the company.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">BDPST has reportedly acquired several high-value properties since its foundation in 2015.
